Like many others I moved to this lively city in the nineties - the time of improvised clubs, producer`s galleries and interesting possibilities for the arts. I`m more of a quiet person and like to spend relaxed weekends with cooking, conversations and reading books.

Zentrale Lage, gute Anbindung, gemeinschaftslich nutzbare Bereiche in der Wohnung ermöglichen ein angenehmes Miteinander, für uns war es die perfekte Wohnmöglichkeit.

Great location in a neighbourhood full of cute cafes and bars. Lovely creative space with good energy. I only wish I knew German so I could partake in the loads of intriguing books littering the bedroom bookshelves.

I was at Michael's apartment for two nights and it was really great. Not only is the place itself nicely furnished and Michael and his family nice and helpful people, but also the neighborhood is amazing with lots of small cafes, restaurants and shops. It is a small walk to the metro or the tram, not too bad and public transport then gets you where you want quickly.

Schönes, geräumiges Zimmer (indirekte Lüftung; kein Außenfenster; empfand ich aber nicht als störend). Großes Bett und Decken für jeden Wärmebedarf...

Great, great place to be.
The room was exactly as I was expecting to be by the advertisement picture. All bright with neutral decoration and very interesting books all around. The bed was large and very confortable and the other parts of the flat were all very pleasant and nice to stay.
I strongly recommend this place. Superb room, flat and area. It was a great experience! -

Diese schöne Altbauwohnung befindet sich in der wunderschönen Schliemannstraße. Von dem Balkon kann man dieser Straße erblicken und die vielen kleinen Läden bestaunen. Trotz zentraler Lage ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig. Mit der Straßenbahn ist man in 10 Minuten am Alexanderplatz oder man bleibt einfach im Kiez. Dort finden sich viele nette Cafes, tolle Restaurants oder kleine Läden. Auch der nahe liegende Helmholtzplatz lädt zum Verweilen ein. Den Sternen ist man ganz nah im Planetarium. Dieses ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen.

Michael ist ein sehr freundlicher und offener Gastgeber. Bei Fragen rund um Berlin kann er mit vielen Tipps helfen und er weiß, wo man was in Berlin erleben kann. Er ist erfahren im Umgang mit Gästen und lässt sich auch kleine Überraschungen einfallen. Der Kontakt mit ihm ist unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Das Wohl seiner Gäste liegt ihm am Herzen und er versucht alles, damit die Tage in Berlin wunderschön werden.
