Hi, I am a 40 years old Madrid-born guy, who loves Barcelona, the city and specially the way of living here. I have studied economics and after working for a lot of years (maybe too many) for multinational companies, I have started up an internet-based company. I love going to theater and opera (going to the Liceo is in my opinion a must in Barcelona), I also enjoy running middle distances.

Nicholas 4.0 01/04/2013Compact and very pleasant. Quiet and comfortable. Miguel, who looks after the flat was prompt. The location was ideal. Close enough to the centre to walk. For Parc Guell take the 24 bus and for Sagrada Familia take the 50 bus. The best restaurants were La Bodegueta in Poble Sec and Biblioteca in El Raval. Both easy walking distance. Elizabets in El Raval was also good. The airport bus stops were very nearby.

Good little apartment with a nice shadowy balcony. Location is good for local grocery stores and bakers, but about 1 km. from Passeig de Gracia. The bed is very small, so make sure you like the person sleeping next to you ;-). There was an odd smell in the apartment when we were there, but we couldn't locate it's origin. It didn't bother us much anyway. Aircons are silent and works great as do all other appliances. Very easy to get from the airport to aparment with the Aerobus.

Sehr nette kleine Wohnung in bester Lage um Barcelona zu Fuß oder per Metro zu erkunden. Perfekt geeignet auch für etwas längere Aufenthalte, da alles, was man so braucht, vorhanden ist. Sehr zu empfehlen!

The apartment was perfect for a stay for one week with four people and had everything you needed. Perhaps the best was the the huge terrace on the rooof-top.
It's location was good with short walks to the centre and all places of intrest.

Good communication an easy to reach on phone and e-mail. However we had to change our plans on our last full day in Barcelona because the person that should return our deposit (not the host) couldn't get there the next morning as agreed earlier. We then agreed to meet the person in the apartment at 18.00 the same day, but he didn't show up. The host finally had to send over another person to return our deposit, but by then we had already wasted 1½ hours of our precious time. My suggestion to the host would be to not collect the deposit in the first place. I don't see the point as payment is already in place.

Abraham was a very good host and the communication was great.
Every needs and questions were perfectly answered.
