Each unit is fully fitted with a washing machine, a flat-screen TV, a sofa and desk. There is also a dining area and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, a microwave, and a fridge.

Calgary Telus Convention Centre is 15 km from the apartment, while Calgary Zoo is 15 km away. The nearest airport is Calgary International Airport, 5 km from Spacious suite near airport.

This modified two story house is nested in a quiet area moments from the airport. The house has several flights of stairs and is not suitable for those with mobility challenges. Upon entering you will find a large entry way with a vast closet.

Three stairs up and you enter a shared use area that includes a half bath, formal dining area, fully stocked kitchen including breakfast bar and a casual eating area. This open concept room has seating for 21 people between the three seating areas.

Off the back of the kitchen you will find a large deck perfect for enjoying the sun and a glass of wine. The large back yard is being landscaped on weekends when guests are not staying but is still enjoyable for pets children and adults alike. A fire pit and BBQ are also available in this outdoor area. The backyard backs onto a green space with a path and a short walk away is a school playground for your children or a pond for an enjoyable stroll and bird watching. Use of bicycles during your stay may also be possible depending on availability.

From the kitchen heading down another three stairs will take you to the laundry area which includes high efficiency front load machines and a large counter with sink for cleaning mud off your hiking boots. This area is my primary entrance and also has access to the garage and basement which are excluded areas from your rental.

From the kitchen area take a flight of stairs up (approximately 12) and you enter the guest use living room which includes a bookshelf stocked with good reads, movies, and games for your enjoyment. The 42 inch tv has cable a dvd player and vhs capabilities. There is ample seating for you and a 5 ft coffee table perfect for board games and puzzles.

Another flight of stairs (approximately 6) will take you to your exclusive use bedroom area. The first bedroom (on the left) is the double room which contains a double bed 37 inch tv with cable and large closet with shelving for your storage needs. Next is the hallway full bathroom, a pretty standard room containing a tub shower combination toilet and sink that is shared with guests of the double rooms. There is ample counter space available for your morning rush and a fully stocked linen closet across the hall for anything you may have forgot to bring. At the end of the hall is another bedroom containing a double bed 32 inch tv without cable but with a dvd player, as well as a cupboard and large closet for your storage needs.

The last bedroom on this floor is by far the most impressive and enjoyable. The master bedroom (queen room) features a plush queen size bed made for angels who are accustomed to sleeping on clouds. There are his and her cupboards as well as a large walk in closet for ample storage. A 40 inch tv with cable and a large ensuite. The ensuite has a huge corner jet tub with shower, large counter and sink and of course a toilet.

Important details for your consideration before booking:
-There is a very well behaved very friendly chocolate lab that calls this property home. He stays in the basement unless you desire a "rent a pet" experience as well. But if you have severe allergies this may not be a great option for you.

- Check-ins and Check-out are self managed by guests. We may or may not be available to greet you.

-The house and guest rooms are locked with electronic key pad entry for security. Front door codes are deactivated immediately when guests leave.

-Check ins and outs are welcome at any time. Guests arriving before 1pm are asked to place their luggage in the front entry closet until the room has been prepared. Guests are asked to remove their belongings from the rooms and place them in the entry closet by 11am to allow time for room preperation for the next guest. Common use areas are welcome to be used before and after room access is available.

-You are welcome to bring one dog for your stay. Dogs must be cleaned up after, well behaved, and are to be left in a kennel if being left alone. Please advise at time of booking if you will be bringing your fur-kid.

-Again there are alot of stairs in this property which are inconvenient for those with mobility challenges. A baby gate is available (at your own risk) to contain children and pets if required - although there is only one and each floor has 2 sets of stairs.

-Although I live here I am not often around. I am always available by email phone or text to offer assistance. This is great for the independent travelers but may not be the right fit for you.

-The bedrooms are on the upper most floor of the house and there is no AC. Rooms can get warm and small fans are provided. My welcome book outlines proven strategies for keeping the rooms as cool as possible.

-There is only street parking available. Guests staying through the winter season (6-10 months of the year :) ) will be able to plug in when required.

-There are no keys for the property. 24 hours before your arrival I will send you your door code. Door codes are deactivated immediately after your stay.

-Common areas are cleaned weekly exclusive use areas are cleaned between guests. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves and are welcome to use provided supplies.

-Due to my severe allergy to laundry detergent only Purex laundry soap is permitted in the washing machine. Laundry usage must be scheduled on the whiteboard outside the laundry room. Guests staying 8 days or more are welcome to do one load per 8 day stay free of charge. Others may use the laundry for $10.00 per load to cover the cost of usage.

-This is a drug free property. Drug use will not be tolerated. Light drinking that does not result in inebration is permittable. Smoking is only permitted outside and butt disposal cans must be used.

-All staying guests must be identified at time of booking. No one else is permitted on the property after 10pm. Unauthorized guests will result in additional fees.

-Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am
