It is hard to believe that the peace and tranquility is situated less than 5 minutes from the N1 and N4 highways and only a few 100 meters from Stanza Bopape Street (previously Church Street, and the main vein into the Pretoria city centre). In fact, in a 5 kilometer radius you will find the Pretoria Botanical Gardens, the Union Buildings, University of Pretoria, Brooklyn Mall and many wonderful restaurants, parks and shops. If you draw a 10 km circle around the guesthouse, you will find such diverse destinations as Menlyn Park Shopping Centre and Atterbury Theatre, the CSIR and UNISA, Church Square and the Voortrekker Monument…the location is truly every business or leisure traveler’s dream. The distance from 3@Marion Guesthouse to these tourist and business attractions might be short, but the road to establishing the business was long and full of challenges and diversions. Susan Marais, the owner and manager, started her hospitality career in 2001…no wait…that is not true…in fact, it started much much earlier.
