We are a family with two teenage boys. René is an independent IT-professional and spends a lot of his spare time as chairman of the soccer club of the boys. He enjoys the newest movies, cycling around Amsterdam and loves to cook. Wilma is working in the retail business and travels a lot as well for inspiration as for purchasing. She loves the cultural treats of Amsterdam and enjoys running in the parks nearby. As a family we like to travel as well to far destinations to meet other cultures, as making short city trips in Europe. For the boys: their number 1 destination is the Alps in wintertime to go skiing. We love our area in the centre of the town, and would like to help you to enjoy our city as well and make the most of your visit. For us, Amsterdam feels like a village, everything within easy access but with the inspiration and grandeur of a metropole
