I earned my MFA from The School of Visual Arts Social Documentary Program in NYC. I have curated for film festivals and taught digital storytelling. I am inspired by the hero twins Hunahpu & Xbalanque plus other unsung/unknown heroes of the America’s. I will one day be a coffee snob.

Andreas 5.0 02/10/2013The apartment is situated in the middle of Brooklyn from where the subway brings you in about half an hour to Manhatten. Supermarket and bars etc. are five minutes away. The room is big and nice with TV and access to the internet (bring your own computer), and the whole apartment is clean and safe. Also beaches like Coney Island or Rockaway Bay are not far away and could be reached by subway or bicycle. Ideal place to discover NYC!
Die Wohnung liegt mitten in Brooklyn, und man braucht etwa eine halbe Stunde bis Manhatten (plus Fußweg zur U-Bahn-Station). Supermarkt um die Ecke. Das Zimmer ist groß mit Fernseher (Kabelanschluss) und Zugang zum Internet, alles sauber und sicher. Sogar zum Strandurlaub geeignet, Coney Island und Rockaway Bay sind per U-Bahn oder Fahrrad erreichbar. Ideal um New York zu erkunden! -

sehr gute lage und super zimmer, alles sauber, die ubahn ist leicht zu erreichen. beste anlaufstelle wenn man günstig ein paar tage in new york verbringen möchte

The place is not exactly deluxe but clean and totally sufficient. Gotta get used to not having a door. There are some great cafes and bars in the neighbourhood which is a definite plus.

Nice room! Just a 7 minute walk to subway station. I can really recommand this room!!!

Pepe is really a cool and nice guy, I met him only once. He organized everything for my arrival very well (e.g. the keys for the apartment,) so you can keep cool and look forward to your stay in New York. I’ll be back!
Pepe ist cool und super nett (habe ihn allerdings nur einmal getroffen). Schlüsselübergabe bei der Ankunft hatte er super organisiert; er ist sehr zuverlässig und vertrauenswürdig. Ich komme wieder! -

Seems like a real nice guy. We had different schedules so we didnt meet much. He put up a little welcome sign which i found really neat.

Unheimlich freundlich und lässig. Privatsphäre war genügend da, trotzdem kann man sich super mit ihm unterhalten, er ist sehr kontaktfreudig. Cooler Typ.
