Welcome to Mas Peonie, the home of my dreams! I am the mama to 5 gorgeous fast growing people and have been lucky enough to have lived all over the world. Although Mas Peonie is at the moment a holiday home for us whilst we are based in London, it was our base for the past 4 years and as such is fully equipped. We fell in love with the house and bought it in 2008 thinking it would be our retirement home of the future but moved there soon after. I spent the next four years renovating this old stone cottage, blogging, laughing at my terrible french and enjoying the good life, I am truly thrilled with the results as I hope you will be. It is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend or a family reunion. Although it is a big house, it always feels homey. There are five garden terraces below the house leading to the swimming pool and an extensive plot in front of the house full of olive trees. We love exploring the beautiful old villages, Grasse being the perfume capital of the world and also a great stop off for gifts and to spoil ourselves! We love walking in the pine forests, going to lake St Cassien , skiing and of course visiting the must see areas of the French Riviera; Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco, St Remo and all the other gorgeous places but secretly my favourite pastime, the one I love most of all are the flea markets! The villa is managed by an amazing woman, Tracy, she will be there to meet and greet you but more importantly, if you have any special requirements eg; food hamper, chef, limousine service and so much more, just ask. She is fluent in French and English and as a local she can tell you what's on in the area.
