I am married with three children, including a late arrival who is 10 years younger than my eldest daughter. She, of course, is the apply of her daddy's eye, and we could'nt imagine life without her. Much of our spare time is centered around family activities, sport school and so on. I am a keen part time amatuer chef, and enjoy preparing meals and entertaining. I am adventurous and like to try out new menus whenever I can. We have family in the Netherlands and friends in the UK. When they come out to visit, I would plan their holidays, make all the necessary arrangements and then drive them on their trip. It gives me great pleasure to see foreigners enjoying and appreciating our beautiful country and many tourist attractions. Our last trip was to Cape Town, and the Mpumalanga Panoramic route, as well as a visit to the Kruger National Park. We are a keen outdoor family, and enjoy camping when the opportunity arises. My long term objective is to run a guest house when I retire. Both my wife and I are active in the Church and School Community. She is Principal of one of the local secondary schools.
