Hello, this is Kahlil (Jaz) and Jason. We met in graduate school and have been married for over 6 years. We wanted to be hosts because being geographers we like to meet people from different parts of the country and abroad. My husband has been in 48 states and he plans to visit all 50 in the future! In our spare time we like reading, biking, and cooking (well, I like baking). We are very considerate with our guests and we give them the space they need while providing a friendly and personalized travel experience. We love being hosts because it allows people to build community and strengthen personal relationships while forming friendships that can last a lifetime. How awesome is that?! Thank you for considering staying with us, ask me any questions, and I wish you (and all your travel companions, if any) happy and safe travels. Oh, before I forget, we are fortunate enough to have lived in other countries and understand (and are respectful of) different cultures and customs. We also speak Spanish, French, and Italian. I understand a little German and have studied Portuguese and Chinese.

Christina 5.0 17/04/2015Sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Für unser Zimmer stand eine extra Dusche und Toilette zur Verfügung welche ausschließlich durch uns benutzt wurde. Sehr ruhig gelegen und wunderschön. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen!

The way from the metro station to the house was ok and so far away. The room was really nice and clean. We had our own bathroom and a extra room for our clothes. All together we had large space for everything.

Leider war der Gastgeber zu dieser Zeit selbst nicht da. Sie informierte uns jedoch sehr zeitg darüber, daß ihre Mutter und der Stiefvater anwesend sein werden. Die Gastgeberin nahm fast täglich Kontakt mir uns auf und fragte nach, ob alles ok ist. Auch gab sie uns Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten. Alles super nette Leute. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Man konnte sich sehr gut unterhalten und am letzten Tag wurden wir sogar noch mit Apple-Pie überrascht. Man fühlte sich fast wie zuhause in der eigenen Familie. Gerne das nächste Mal in Peru (dort steht ebenfalls eine Unterkunft zur Verfügung!) :-)

Our hosts were Isabelle and Patrick who were very very very nice and hospitable to us. We arrived while it was raining and because we were by foot we were very wet. And Isabelle and Patrick offered us a self-made soup which was very delicious. We talked a lot and i have to say, if i ever get the chance to stay ther again, i will do it.
Thank you very much Isa and Pat we had a great time in D.C.

Jaz was very friendly, supportive and nice to talk to. Everything was handled very accurate and promptly too. Altogether a nice stay, highly recommended!
