Your host, Doug, is well-travelled and loves meeting other keen travellers. He grew up locally and knows the town and district well, so he is well-placed to advise you on any local touring. He is a keen musician and conducts for the local Operatic Society at the newly refurbished Opera House (one of the many astounding Victorian and Edwardian buildings that grace this exceptional town) Currently he is teaching physics part-time and some arrival times before 4pm can be difficult; phone to be sure.
