I rented the other room as I came staying a few nights at Uwe as I booked the wrong room here on 9flats. The room was clean and warm, I woke up with a breakfast prepared and Uwe is as best as hosts will get. He showed me how to get to the city and back and is no more then a phone call away for when you need him.
It is one of the best places to stay within Hamburg, 2 minutes from a bus station and within 40 minutes you are in the city center. When you come back you have the nice silence of a town with a small center, not more then 5 minutes away by foot. There you will find a Aldi and Edeka among others stores, close by are also some nice restaurants that have excellent food.
If you want to stay in Hamburg but do not want to have all the pressure of the city than this is the best place to stay:).
