Information about Wales

Our apartments in Wales are characterized by privacy and freedom. We arrange private accommodation, which is similar to couchsurfing in Wales, is individually furnished and therefore a very special travel experience. So if you want to make an interesting trip through Wales and at the same time stay in unusual accommodations, book your private holiday apartment in Wales now. In our portfolio you will find numerous options, e.g. Apartments in Powys or private accommodation in Carmarthenshire. On the west coast, about 110 kilometres northeast, you will find our Apartments in Flintshire. From here you can easily reach the River Dee, Chester and Liverpool. About 100 kilometres south of Gwynedd and a little further in the Welsh hinterland you will stay in cosy holiday apartments in Ceredigion on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains.

Holiday homes in Wales: in the west of Great Britain

While in prehistoric times many menhirs and megalithic complexes were built in Wales that are still worth seeing today, later the Romans created magnificent buildings such as forts and amphitheatres. But the inhabitants of the centuries that followed also ensured that guests from all over the world travelled to Wales to discover the historic sights. Your holiday home in Wales could be near one of the Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire Coast or Brecon Beachons National Parks. Or would you prefer to visit The Gower Peninsula, with its beautiful beaches? If you are interested in relics from the ancient past, visit the Neolithic tombs of Pentre Ifan. Caerleon is home to the Roman amphitheatre and Llyn peninsula is home to the Iron Age Fort Tre´r Ceyri. You will discover one of the most famous menhirs on Holy Island: South of Holy Head, the two meter high stone giant rises into the sky.

Apartments in Wales: private accommodation with a high recreational factor

However, holiday homes in Wales are not only a great way to discover the historical and scenic beauties of the country, but also to get to know Wales from a culinary point of view. If you go to one of the small inns in the morning to have breakfast, you will surely get the typical “English Breakfast”, which usually consists of cornflakes, ham & eggs, sausages, tomatoes and mushrooms. On your tours you will certainly often see the sign “Fish & Chips”, here you will find, especially along the coast, mostly freshly caught fish with rustic fries. Try the typical lamb with mint sauce or the hearty Welsh soup “Cawl Mamgu”, which consists mainly of leek, onions, carrots and lamb. Afterwards you will be back on your way to see Cardiff and Cardiff Castle, a medieval castle in the centre of the state capital. Apartments in Wales are a good choice in every respect.

We really enjoyed our stay in Criccieth in this apartment. The second bedroom was ideal for our 1-year old's carry-cot. The lounge was comfortable with a dining table which had views to the sea on one side - fantastic. The host was really helpful and friendly, meeting us on arrival and being flexible with or needs. Definitely wold recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting the area and wanting more flexibility and freedom than offered by B&Bs, especially as the price is comparable.
