Best Rome-Portuense holiday apartments

A beautiful place, clean, a wonderful garden.

Wir hatten fünf sehr schöne und heiße Oktobertage in Rom. Leider klappte bei unserer Ankunft das angebotene Abholen an einer Straßenbahnstation nicht, warum konnten wir leider nicht rausbekommen, da unsere Gastgeberin wirklich kein Wort Englisch versteht oder spricht. Nach langem Suchen haben wir unsere Unkerunft dann doch gefunden. Nette Wohnung mit einem sehr idyllischem Garten. Außer unserem Zimmer war auch das zweite Zimmer belegt und wir mussten uns das Bad teilen, obwohl in der Unterkunftsbeschreibung definitiv etwas anderes steht: ... We have two large and bright double rooms with separate private bathroom (on the corridor, but will only be used by you, not the other guests). Das war mir eigentlich wichtig!!! Frühstück gab es erst ab 09:30 Uhr. Wir waren dann also nie vor 11 Uhr in der Stadt, hatten allerdings trotzdem eine sehr schöne Zeit in Rom und würden beim nächsten Mal dann doch eine Unterkunft im Zentrum nehmen.

The place is not in the center of the city but it's in the center of the "dolce vita"

Not full kitchen facilities (no oven or preparation surface) but we made do and were absolutely fine! Also had a bit of trouble getting hot water; even when we left if overnight, we were still having partially cold showers the next morning. However, these were small oversights for what was a really good apartment :) location isn't easily walkable into Rome, but so so accessible via bus routes just round the corner from the airport, and also really accessible from Termini, Trastevere and the airport. We had a great time here, and can honestly recommend them :)
