I love to travel and experience new cultures. I am a retired American who loves everything "Italian." You can tell by the amount of time I spend in Italy. I still have many more cities to visit. Rome is endless. I can never get enough of Rome. Everybody should experience it at least once in a lifetime. I was actually in the audience the night that Pope Francis was elected. It was an amazing experience. There are many beautiful cities throughout Italy waiting to be experienced. I love looking at the architecture. I also like traveling to other countries. One of my other favorite cities is Berlin. I would say that Rome and Berlin are my two favorite cities. They are different, but both share some common characteristics. I love reading, and writing about places I have visited. I am currently working on a travel blog and will have it up and running soon. I have traveled to many countries: Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Monaco, England, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Estonia, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Bahamas, San Marino, and The Vatican. I will travel to Slovenia this summer. I have two 15 1/2 year old cats that I adore. I enjoy my downtime and spending it with them. Anastasia and Katerina have had some awesome "pet sitters" the last few years. I highly recommend traveling to anybody who is inquisitive. It can be done, even on a shoestring. I like renting small apartments when I travel. That way I can fix breakfast or lunch, etc. if I feel like it. It makes me feel like I am at home, and I am really a homebody at heart, so this mode of travel is a must for me. I have enjoyed staying at Airbnb rentals in Berlin, Cracow, and Rome. I will try my best to make your stay enjoyable also! I know the area well, and my goal is to help you know it too.
