Über Selene and Shane
Your hosts Selene and Shane have had much pleasure from being involved in hospitality, having run A Woodsy House and Cottages in the Coromandel in the north Island for over nine years. They greatly enjoyed their meetings and exchanges with travellers, and having travelled themselves world wide they are very in tune with the varying needs of guests and the balance of caring yet non intrusive hospitality. They look forward to welcoming you and sharing their charming home and environment with you. Nelson has the most hours of sunshine in the whole of New Zealand! Central Nelson is only a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive. We also have a local corner shop, two pubs serving food, a take-away and an organic health shop within a few minutes walk. A pleasant park is around the corner and leads to the track up to the centre of New Zealand, directly above our property. There are spectacular views from the top and it is well worth the 15 minute climb.
