Über Rick

Peter and Rick "retired" from their hotel careers in 2004 after they bought the property with Jan in 2001 and did a major rennovation and expansion, adding approximately 4,000 sq ft to the original historic property. The B & B opened in September of 2004. In Fall of 2008, Rick's mother, Jan, joined the B & B operations team. All 3 innkeepers help in all aspects of the B & B, but each has their specific area of responsibility. Peter is in charge of day-to-day operations. Rick handles sales, marketing, PR and reservations. Jan is in charge of administration, day-to-day bookkeeping and general financial issues and supervises the gardening. All three innkeepers take turns preparing and serving breakfast. Running a B & B is a lot of work but the Innkeepers are enjoying their life in the hospitality business!
