I own and manage - along with my wife Lynda- a home decorating store; inhouse and online (paint, wallpaper, curtains etc). When I finish work its good to drive into The Mournes -an area of outstanding natural beauty- where I have my home to chill out and enjoy working on my little farm, which is really just a hobby. The good news is I also have a really comfy farmhouse on the land to let out on a self catering basis. So if your thinking of visiting Ireland and want some where to relax and recharge and yet be only 60/90 minutes from Belfast/Dublin; we would be glad to see you.

The farmhouse, as expected, is a bit outside of town, but it's perfect for anyone who wants to get awa.. There are lots of activities a short drive away, and the Mourne Mountains are beautiful.

The hosts were very helpful with suggestions on activities in the area and were very flexible on arrival and departure.
