This is a well appointed and centrally located apartment which consists of one bedroom with double bed, a medium living / dining room with glass dinning table and chairs, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large balcony with Great view over Athens. Wifi connection, bedlinen, towels and cleaning are free of charge.

It is located in a beautiful residential spot, very close to the center of Athens, in Neo Irakleion - area / Prasinou Lofou street, and right beside to the Olympic Sports Complex (OAKA). It is within driving distance to all Athens main sights.

Via Bus and Metro you can access the Syntagma square, the National Garden, the Acropolis and Plaka. Around this apartment there are some small local restaurants, a bakery and a supermarket, ideal for your daily needs.

Public transportation (bus/metro/taxis) is really convenient in this area towards all destinations.

How to get there:

1. Take advantage of our FREE transfer from the Airport (or Port) to the apartment. In an effort to simplify you reaching the apartment you've rented we are offering this free service. Our driver will be expecting you at the airport's / port's gate with a sign with your name to take you directly to the apartment, so you don't have to worry to call us or manage a way to get there. This service is upon request at least 2 days before the arrival (for max 4 guests).

2. Easily reach from Metro station "Neon Irakleion / Irakleion" and buses 640/642, the bus station is in front of the apartment building.

3. Almost anything can be reached within 30-35 minutes via Bus and Metro or taxi cab, embassies, museums, shopping, touristic attractions e.t. By bus and Metro to the station "Irakleion"- and from there to the very center of Athens.

Things to Do in Athens
Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square. You may even see the impressive changing of the guards. If you are interested in visiting museums, Greece has an abundance of them, including Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art, the National Archaeological Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, and the Acropolis Museum. Another place you should put on your itinerary is the famous Acropolis of Athens.

Aside from historic sites, you should also make time on your vacation to go to some of the beaches of Athens, such as Lagonisi and Glyfada. For shopping, make sure to visit Ermou Street. If you are more interested in antiques and flea markets, make sure to go to Monastiraki.

If you are looking for fine dining and interested in trying authentic Greek dishes, try going to the restaurant called Estiatorio Milos Athens. For French Cuisine, check out the restaurant Spondi, which is a restaurant known for both its’ food and beautiful interior. Athens also has a thriving nightlife scene. Gazi is an area with several clubs and bars, such as Pixi. For a bar with a view of the Acropolis and Athens, go to 360 Degrees.

Day Trips Near Athens
There are a multitude of fun day trips that you can make from Athens. The city of Corinth is only about an hour drive from Athens. Julius Caesar had Corinth rebuilt while he ruled. The city therefore has a lot of history and features multiple historic attractions, such as the Bema platform. Another place to check out while staying in Greece is the city of Epidaurus. While spending the day in Epidaurus, make sure to visit the Temple of Asklepios and Epidaurus’ large amphitheater, which is from the 4th century B.C.

Stay in the Center if you want to be right in the heart of the central square of Athens. If you are planning to explore the nightlife scene, rent a place in Psiri. Monastiraki is an area filled with beautiful homes, shops, and historic sites.

Transportation in Athens
While in Athens, you can take the Attiko Metro, which is the Athens Metro system. The public transportation system has three lines, which are called M1, M2, and M3. M1 goes between Piraeus and Kifissia. M2 goes between Agios Antonios and Agios Dimitrios. Lastly, M3 goes between Egaleo and Doukissis Plakentias. Each station has ticket machines. You can purchase one-way tickets, day tickets, or weekly tickets.
