In fact Massimo's photo's do not do the flat justice. It was far lighter than I expected, and the lounge area bigger. The staircase up to the flat would cause problems for the disabled, but other than that I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation, or return myself.Karen reviewed Residenza San Lio in Castello
Beautiful apartment in the quiet part of Venice, where you meet local residents often then tourists, and close to the Bienale exhibition.Jana reviewed MICH in Castello
The apartment looks new renovated, with modern forniture, wonderful antique carpets, cute pictures on the walls and plants inside and on the terrase. We were six people there and we felt comfortable. The two bathrooms were good.
Perhaps one thing can make a problem to somebody: to carry a suitcase to the third floor.
Stefan reviewed Ca MarcelloTerrazza in Castello

Castello is the largest ‘sestieri’ in the city of Venice. It is home to a dazzling array of classic Venetian architecture, stunning waterways and plenty of Italian charm. Originally, Castello was a 13th century port and has transformed into one of the most visited areas in Europe. Remnants of Venice’s naval past can be seen at every turn, and Napoleon’s Biennial Gardens still wow visitors with their stunning beauty. Venice, and Castello in particular, is famous for its incredible Churches, and no visit to the floating city should pass without paying a visit to the Church of Santi Giovanni and the Church of San Giorgio dei Greci.
