This is a beautiful apartment. We were not able to stay there as the gas pipe in the street was broken and the gas to building was off for three weeks, at least.Marilyn reviewed 3 bedroom 100 m2 apartment with terrace next Opera House , WIFI ,AC in Belvaros
They accommodated us in another apartment and gave us a discount. The hosts were fantastic.

- It is very quiet, but right in the middle of Budapest.Mat reviewed Central Corvin Apartment 4. in Pest
- The location is superb, tramlines, 2 metro lines, many bus lines and supermarket at < 500 m. Good vietnamese take-away at the next corner.
- The flat has windows only on an inner court. Because it is on the first floor, no sun can reach it and it stays fairly cool even though outside it was 30+ centigrade.
- On the other hand, that also makes the flat somewhat dark, so we used lights a lot, but there are enough lights.
- The bathroom has no separate ventilation, but it is very high, and opens to the room with the front door, which had a high window always open. We had no problem with moisture in the bathroom and laundry did dry quickly (having washing machine is a real plus if you stay longer).
- All windows open to the inner court 1st floor gallery where people can walk, so you should close them when you're not at home.
In short: highly recommended.

Nice place, fully equipped as written in the description (computer, two huge TVs, a smaller TV, satellite TV, 2 game computers, waterbeds). It's worth to mention the kitchen separately, which is fully equipped with kitchen utensils and all kinds of electrical kitchen equipment. The host is friendly and reacts quickly to inquiries. Place is clean.
What doesn't become clear from the description, is that one bedroom can only be reached by going through the other. Also, it does have two bedrooms, but no living room (however, it does have a big kitchen/eating room).
Another thing worth mentioning is that the apartment only has windows to the inner courtyard of the house (except for the kitchen). This makes the apartment pretty dark and hard to air (because the air in the courtyard is not moving).
The apartment is close to the city center and very close to bigger shops and a market, as well as public transport. The neighborhood is not so good, with people sleeping on the streets.Linda reviewed Luxus Appartement im Zentrum in Jozsefvaros
The stunning city of Budapest is one of Eastern Europe’s largest cities, and it is also a world renowned centre for architecture and the arts. The city rests on the banks of the Danube, and it has been a single urban area since Buda on the west bank and Pest on the east bank were unified in the 19th century.
Budapest is an ancient city, packed full with centuries’ of history, cultural richness and countless tourist attractions. Tourism is booming in the city, and the result is often a shortage of accommodation during peak times of the year. However, many people are now turning to 9flats.com in order to book a privately-owned apartment in Budapest. Hotels in Budapest are great, but they don’t offer the same seclusion, and comforts as a well-appointed private apartment.
Gorgeous Vacation Rentals in Budapest
There are so many fantastic things to do in Budapest the only problem visitors have is fitting them all into a short stay. Near the top of any visitor’s agenda should be a walking tour of the historic area of Castle Hill. However, the best way to see the city in all of its stunning beauty is by a river cruise along the Danube; sip cocktails, eat dinner and behold the stunning architectural splendour that this Hungarian paradise has in abundance. If you prefer to mix with the locals and sample authentic Hungarian cuisine, you may like to pay a visit to Central Market Hall, as it is the only place to go for locally-produced foods that have been developed over the centuries. With so much to do, a comfortable and relaxing base is absolutely essential, and they don’t come more relaxing than a luxury holiday apartment in Budapest. Live like the locals do, and experience a side of Budapest that hotels simply can’t offer.
Accommodation in Budapest- Your Home Away from Home
