Apartment has a great location next to Galata Tower in a very charming part of town. It is a walking distance to the Istiklal Street and Mevlevi Dervishes Museum. Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Apartment is on the thirds floor of an older building and there is no lift so pack light! There are fans in each bedroom and an air-conditioning unit in the hall but if you are there in a summer month it might get a little hot. Apartment itself is big with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Internet service was working very well. Bathroom was specious with good water pressure. Would highly recommend!Inga reviewed Galata Charm+ High Ceilings+ 3BR in Bereketzade

Monika reviewed Charming studio w galata tower view in Bereketzade

The flat is located closely to the Galata tower and you have an awesome view over the old part of the city. We really had a good time and would recommend this flat to all our friends for their visit in Istanbul!Kerstin reviewed Charming studio with balcony Galata in Bereketzade
Many cities lay claim to being ‘where east meets west’ but nowhere is this more literally true than in the case of Istanbul. The city straddles the Bosphorus and in doing so occupies two continents, Europe and Asia. Bereketzade is right at the centre of that meeting of cultures. Situated on the European side of the city, in the Beyoglu district, a holiday apartment in Bereketzade will place you in the middle of this cultural melting pot, in the heart of the community. Renting your holiday accommodation in Bereketzade is in fact much like couchsurfing in Bereketzade. It provides the same authentic experience but offers more comfort and privacy, with your own room or apartment. Your holiday apartment in Bereketzade is a great central base from which to explore this fascinating city.
Exploring from your holiday accommodation in Bereketzade
If you are looking for a holiday apartment in Istanbul that is in a central location then you couldn’t do better than Bereketzade. Located just across the stretch of water known as ‘the Golden Horn’ from the old town, it sums up the cosmopolitan nature of the city better than any other. Different cultures live here side by side and the area is still the centre for many foreign consulates in the city. The main street of İstiklâl Caddesi contains many bars, cafes, wine houses and restaurants to enjoy, alongside cinemas, theatres and art galleries. The historic red trams run along the street and the Istanbul Modern and Pera Museum display many fine works of art for the visitor to enjoy.
An alternative to your holiday accommodation in Bereketzade
Close to Bereketzade and also in the Beyoglu district, a holiday apartment in Cihangir is another great choice for those seeking a central location for their Istanbul visit. Cihangir is home to lots of Istanbul’s intelligentsia, with many writers, artists and academics living here. The streets have brightly painted stucco facades and there are loads of cafes, vintage stores and galleries. Cihangir is also becoming Istanbul’s antique district, with shops selling everything from serious pieces to bric-a-brac. A walk to the top of the hill will bring you to Cihangir Mosque, where you can enjoy some of the best views over the Bosphorus in the city.

Istanbul has long been Turkey’s most visited city but the capital is now Ankara. A holiday apartment in Ankara could be you base as you explore a different side to Turkey. This administrative centre is also a big university town. The locals are not so cosmopolitan as their Istanbul counterparts and fewer speak English but they are generally friendly and helpful. When you tire of the grand purpose-built districts, try finding a cafe in the pretty old town. Leaving Turkey, a short trip across the Aegean Sea will take you to a holiday apartment in Athens where you can explore this cradle of Western democracy. At 9flats, we have great deals on local accommodation in the world’s most exciting destinations, so book your apartment in Bereketzade now to begin your journey.
