If you are interested in enchanting castles, you will certainly like La Hulpe Castle, about 18 kilometres southeast of Brussels. It was built around 1840 and lies in a picturesque park belonging to the Solvay domain. Another recommendable excursion destination is the Maas Valley, which stretches between Namur and Dinant along bizarre rocks and past picturesque villages. Here, too, castles, abbeys and magnificent complexes are a delight. But from your apartment in Belgium, you must also visit the water gardens of Château d’Annevoie, one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe.
