the review is NOT for the Hudson but for (-> Ultra Chic Studio at the Mondrian South Beach). A couple of days before my planned arrival at the Hudson Eddy emailed me that they overbooked but will provide me with an alternative. Met at Mondrian. Very friendly contact . He said I could move to the Hudson after 4 nights or stay here. I was really thinking about moving, the Mondrian being on the bayside instead of close to the beach and being all upscale SoBe & more like a hotel than a private condo. Guess what . The place grew on me. It was clean, there was a gym in the house a huge pool with free towel service and the view. The view was a killer. At night I left the curtains open & saw the lights of the skyline from downtown Miami. Simply amazing. There is a Walgreens 2 blocks away & a supermarket. A bus stop is right in front of the Mondr. & 2 Publix supermarkets are 6 blocks away. Depending if you like to walk you can still walk to Ocean drive or Lincoln Rd mall.
