The room is small, but very comfy, there is a closet for your things and the private bathroom is just a few feet across the floor. The desription is absolutely accurate, no strings attached - you really get that awesome package :) The neighborhood is completely residential, you have a supermarket about 8 minutes away. Be aware that the metro station is over a mile away - I needed 18 minutes, although I have a fast pace. I would stay again at this place if I went to Washington DC.Martina reviewed GuestNest: Private Bath-Wifi-Metro & More in Brightwood
Washington D.C. is the iconic capital city of the United States. Not to he confused with the state of Washington on the west coast, this incredible city was originally designed as a capital in honour of the country’s first president. As well as all of its unmistakable buildings and monuments, Washington D.C. is also blessed with top-class restaurants and a vibrant night-life. A collection of public parks and free museums mean people on a budget will have no problem finding exciting things to do in the city. But with so much history to explore, you will need a relaxed and secluded residence in which to recharge your batteries every evening, and a holiday apartment in Washington D.C. from 9flats ticks all the boxes.
Chic Holiday Apartments in Washington D.C.
Washington’s role as the seat of government in the USA means there are countless monuments and government buildings to explore. Amongst the must-see attractions during your visit include the National Mall, the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial and, of course, the White House. The National Mall is actually a National Park, and it offers unrestricted access to a great many monuments and memorials. The city is also blessed with several world-class museums, including the National Museum of Natural History and the National Air and Space Museum. As many of these attractions are free, you can spend your day exploring America’s culture and history without spending a penny. However, such a trip will require stamina, and a holiday apartment in Logan Circle of your own will provide the perfect place in which to recuperate after a day spent sight-seeing.
Holiday Accommodation in Washington D.C. Provides a Window into the Local Community
The fabulous Smithsonian is a celebration of American history and culture that includes artefacts and exhibits charting the illustrious history of this relatively young country. The National Zoo can be found in Woodley Park; providing the perfect day out for young families. And the domineering structure of the National Cathedral is a jaw-dropping sight and must not be missed. Everywhere you turn, majestic architecture provides a true feast for the eyes; from the Library of Congress to the Lincoln Memorial. However, there is a tight-knit community in Washington to explore as well, and holiday accommodation in Court House from 9flats can make that possible. Renting a private holiday residence can give you a perspective on local life that hotels simply can’t.
Couchsurfing in Washington is a relatively recent phenomenon, yet it is growing increasingly popular. The service offered on the 9flats website is similar to couchsurfing, but it takes the principle to the next level by giving travellers the element of luxury. Whether you are looking for vacation homes in Los Angeles or private lodgings in Rio de Janeiro, booking with 9flats means you won’t have to share your personal space with property-owners or other travellers.
