J.R. 2.0 stars 05/12/2013The confirmation did not mention that we should go to the office first to collect the keys, so we had a time consuming and confusing 2.5 hours gone. The flat we thought we booked was being worked on, and we got offered another one. Nice neighborhood but awful and poor interior with bare lamps on the ceiling, broken cupboards and 2nd / 3d hand shower. We could hear the neighbors speak, etc. Very bad first experience, never again! The pictures on the site are fully misleading, the two places that we saw are cramped below par buildings, in our view a ''royal'' rip off.

This feels like a student dorm. It is clean and in a good neighborhood but tiny.
I had problems checking in and reaching the host. Next time I use 9Flats I will choose an apartment where the host has better feedback on availability and problem solving.

Stephan 5.0 stars 06/20/2012I really like the Belsize Park / Camden / Hampstead area. When I booked this place, I did not stay at exactly that building but at a different one in Belsize Avenue. Really quiet, very clean, close to the Northern Line. No five start, but one of the best stays in London I had for the money. I will be back.

After phoning because of the confusion, the ''host'' explained almost aggressively that on his site (no clue that this existed) it was blatantly clear that all visitors had to show up at the office. When I mentioned that this was not visible on the email confirmation, the host explained that such matters were out of his control, and that we should be happy with the free upgrade to a better apartment...I m happy that we did have a chance to see that worse apartment.

This is no private accomodation - it's a company letting those appartments. The guys working there are very nice and helpful, there's no problem for key exchange and information.
