The Plaza Mayor apartment is located in a renovated building. The apartment has a simple and funky design. The building pertains to the city's historic and artistic heritage of the famed Plaza Mayor in Madrid. It is a comfortable and functional space.There are one bedroom with 2 simple beds and another with a double bed. The living area has one double sofa bed and a divan for one more is in the dining area. The apartment has a TV with DVD player, internet connection, air conditioning, washing machine, and hair dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering.
Because of its excellent location in the heart of Madrid, the Plaza Mayor apartment is the perfect place for up to 7 people to stay in the vibrant Spanish capital. Practically every interesting tourist attraction is walking distance from this apartment: Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Los Austrias (the city's old town), Gran Vía shopping, La Latina and more. The Royal Palace is right around the corner as is the opulent Opera house. All the fun of Madrid's notorious nightlife is walking distance from this unbeatable location. The 3 major museums, Thyssen, Prado and Reina Sofia, are a short metro ride away. The metro for the three major lines is just 300 metres from the building.
Convenient and historic area of Madrid!
When arriving in Madrid please phone to inform us about your arrival at least 55 minutes in advance. If coming by plane, please call once you have claimed your luggage so that our staff has time enough to go and wait for you in the apartment. In order to guarantee the return of the apartment in perfect conditions, a 200 € deposit will be requested, refundable once the apartment and its belongings have been returned in proper conditions. Check-in from 20:00 pm to 2:00 am must pay an extra charge of 30 €

You will be able to go walking to most of the highlights of the city, like Puerta del Sol or La latina, the best place in Madrid to take tapas. Don't miss it!!!

Valentina 2.0 stars 05/20/2013I talked with Elisa only by phone and she was very kind. However the lady that came to the apartment spoke only Spanish and gave us a wrong information about the baggage deposit in the nearby station, so that we had to spend 2 hours more than planned to find the right one. They ask for the credit card number as a deposit for the aprtment, even if this was not mentioned at the time of reservation.
