We are offering a double and/or a single bedroom to Barcelona visitors in our home. Perfect for single traveler, a couple or a family with a child.

Our flat is duplex flat in Poble Nou quarter, 5 min walk to the beach in the quiet but lively local pedestrian area full of small shops and tasty restaurants.
An original place full of history and spirit. The living room used to be shop half of century ago and the rest of the lower floor offers cozy romantic kitchen, single bedroom, pantry/storage room and a private garden with a small porch. There are two bedrooms upstairs including very light double bedroom with sun-room overlooking the garden.
"Authenticity" would be the best word to describe both, the flat and Poble Nou - a village in the city, only 5 metro stop or 15min on bus away from the center (Plaza Catalunya).
If you are looking for ultra modern brand new place, this is not for you. If you on the other hand like to feel the atmosphere and the scent of history (and don't mind the that there are still few things to be fixed up) don't look any further.

Das Zimmer liegt 5 Min. vom Strand entfernt und zu Fuß 30-40-Min. vom gothischen Viertel, bzw. Sagrada Familia. U-Bahn und Bus liegen ansonsten auch ganz in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft ist absolut ruhig nach Hinten raus. Vorne ist eine Fußgängerzone mit einer köstlichen Bäckerei und vielen anderen Geschäften. Ausstattung ist einfach aber alles ist da. Einziges Problem war, dass das zweite Zimmer nur zur Verfügung steht, wenn die Tochter bei ihrem Vater ist. Aber mit einer zweiten Matratze hat hier die Gastgeberin gleich Abhilfe geschaffen, da uns sonst das eine Bett zu klein gewesen wäre.

ANNE 5.0 stars 02/27/2013Nous avons été heureux de séjourner dans ce quartier plus calme, même en hiver. On est très vite près du centre en métro.
La chambre est spacieuse et charmante, et on se sent très vite faisant partie du quartier qui est bien agréable et authentique, pour démarrer la journée en douceur....
