Light and cozy one bedroom unit (yes, your own self-contained one bedroom apartment) on the top floor of a house has separate entry for total privacy.
Few blocks from Ocean Beach, Lincoln Park, Legion of Honors, Golden Gate park, and the beautiful Land's End is all within walking distance. A short 10 minute walk from the house to any of the parks/ocean. Legion of Honors park is a block apart.
The 38L bus runs from east end to the west end of San Francisco. The bus runs every 10 minutes and will literally take you to every inch of San Francisco.
From the airport, you can take the shared ride van (super-shuttle) to the house. The cost is $20.00.
The place is 700 square feet. I have a queen size bed for two people, but a floor mat can accommodate one more person.

Helene 5.0 stars 11/11/2012The apartment was very nice and easy to find. The bus stops practically right next to the house. Golden gate park is right down the street and there's many other great sites within walking distance from the place. Ruthie is very friendly and provides loads of helpful material for her guests in the apartment ( maps, brochures etc). I would definitely book with her again!

Christian & Jan 5.0 stars 04/08/2012We had a very comfortable stay in San Francisco and were very happy to have such a good appartment. It was very spacious and had everything we needed exept some kitchen tools, that would have been helpful (e.g. a sieve).
The appartment ist located next to Lincoln Park and it is only a short walk to the best view of Golden Gate Bridge. The next supermarket is only 3 blocks away. For going downtown we took the car, because with public transport it would have taken about one hour.
It was never difficult to find a parking space in the street (and you don't have to pay for it).

Ruthie is a good host. She always replied to eMails very fast and gave very helpful tips for sightseeing not only in San Francisco, but also in Napa Valley.
When we arrived Ruthie left us the key under the door map because she was not there at this time and so we had to help ourselves which was no problem at all, she had prepared everything for us. -

She was available for any questions, allowed us to check in very late and was super friendly. We felt very much at home! And Ruthie is certainly the quickest person I ever met to reply to emails and text messages. Takes minutes, if not seconds!
