HISTORICAL NOTE: Air Conditioning in Old Town
If you didn't live in an old town maybe you don't know: thanks to the antique building methods, walls are thick and massive; this maintains the indoor temperature fresh, spontaneously, even in the hottest days of the summer. Around midday air can be refreshed furtherly with the fan, while in the night very fresh relaxing air comes from outdoor through our wooden "persiane" (antique shelter for the windows, with a unique shape; it's a traditional method of indoor air conditioning, coming from past centuries); so that you'll feel comfortable always, without needing to close the windows and turn on an electrical air conditioner.

Tom 5.0 stars 08/10/2012Logement fabuleux à 300m du Ponte Vecchio et 500m des Offices à pieds, très fidèle à la description, au calme et au frais avec une très bonne literie... Dommage que nous y soyons restés si peu de temps...
A noter qu'il peut être difficile d'accès à pieds pour des personnes à mobilité réduite car la rue est assez pentue et les voitures ne peuvent y stationner...
