The apartment is located in the front house on the 2nd Floor of an old building, right in the quiet and popular Kaskelkiez.
You have direct access to the Berlin S-Bahn network:
The s-train station Nöldnerplatz is just 3 minutes by foot. There you will have access to the S7, S75 and S5. The central train station Berlin Ostkreuz is only 7 min walk. There you will have access to the S3, S8, S9, S41 und S42.
The apartment has two large windows (south side), a large double bed, a TV and DVD, radio and free wireless internet. The kitchen has everything you need to have extensive cooking sessions. The spacious and bright bathroom has a washing machine and bathtub.
Nearby there is a bakery, several cafes, shops and a big shopping center. Treptower Park and the peninsula Stralau directly at the Spree are just 5 minutes away by foot. Here you can do sport activities like jogging, paddling, skating, or just eat ice cream and have a walk.
The district Friedrichshain is known for the nightlife. You will find numerous bars and a lot of different clubs. Even a shopping tour in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is worth to go for. There are small boutiques, well known and independant labels and the famous Boxhagener flea market - here you will find everything you need.
In addition, there is the possibility to rent two bikes. (this is not included in the price)
Furthermore you have the possibilitiy to order an airbed with the exact sizes 138 x 190cm. The bed could be used as an extra bed for for the third person or an unexpected guest.

Soreya 5.0 stars 05/03/2013I had a very nice stay, the good points are the location, calm area, less than 2mn walk from metro (every8-10mn) which is very close to the centre of Berlin (Noldnerplatz) and 2mn from Ostkreuz (stop to take the line which goes to Shonefeld airport)+building is nice and clean+the high ceilings of the apartment+apartment is highly functional (place to put your stuff, kitchen is full of equipment+full of linen and plenty of pillows and 2 blankets if you want+big windows so lots of light+the owner was very very much helpful. The 'less good' points: a 2 place blanket would have been better, it would be nice to renew linen for bed and bathroom (they are clean but used), I did not manage to make the TV work, but I am not good with technology and did not think of telling the owner to be honest and after i was so busy touring around that I completely forgot about TV.

Sehr gute Lage zu S-Bahn und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Trotz ausrichtung zur Bahnlinie konnte ich bei offenem Fenster gut schlafen. Ein schöner z.Zt. bunter Baum in den man vom Bett aus hineinschaut.
Entspricht sonst der Beschreibung. -

Apartment is perfect. Nice and peaceful place & neighborhood, good coffees & restaurants, food store, baker close (2-5 min) as well as S-Bahn direct to center. 5 star, highly recommended for your stay in Berlin!
