Hello! You will be using one bedroom with a double bed in a two bedroom house in South East London close to Blackheath and Greenwich. The ground floor has a front room and an open plan living room/diner/kitchen with an access to the garden. There is a laundry/toilet on the ground floor and a bathroom/toilet on the first floor next to the bedrooms. When there is someone at home the bathroom will be shared. It is a very friendly house with an atmosphere of tranquility and peace. When we are not at home there will be a friend next door to host you. I believe you will enjoy the homely and lovely environment.

    Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb Londons. Es ist vermutlich aus den 60er Jahren, wunderschön renoviert, sehr gepflegt und hell u. sauber u. geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es liegt ruhig in einer gepflegten Reihenhaussiedlung mit hübschen Vorgärten. Man kann es mit dem Bus gut erreichen und ist in ca. 30 Minuten mitten im Herzen Londons. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer, eines oben mit Bad nebenan und eins unten mit TV, vielen Musik-CD´s, DVD´s und interessanten Büchern. Eine Gästetoilette ist auch unten. Die Möbel sind überwiegend aus naturbelassenem Kiefernholz, Eiche oder restaurierte Antiquitäten. Die Küche bietet Ceranfeldherd, Backofen, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Kontaktgrill, Entsafter etc. Von der großen Obstauswahl darf man sich nehmen und auch hier und da etwas von den Gewürzen oder auch den superleckeren naturbelassenen Teesorten. Eine sehr gemütliche und einladende Atmosphäre! Wir haben uns hier mit unseren beiden Mädchen (10 und 7 Jahre alt) sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne mal wieder.

    Unsere Gastgeberin ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die, wenn man sie fragt, gerne gute Tipps für Ausflüge und wie man am besten dort hinkommen kann, gibt. Sie ist tagsüber in ihrem Büro im Gartenhaus nebenan beschäftigt und man sieht sich kurz morgens oder abends. Sie hat immer gute Laune und ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

upon arrival the flat still got "cleaned", but unfortunately in a rush and not to our satisfaction at all, dishwasher was still full but no cleaning tabs, the surfaces in the kitchen were dirty, kettle was moldy, old scruffy food in the fridge, nothing at all in the kitchen cabinets, apart from straws, trash, tools, pieces of paper etc., no tea towels; Flooring, surfaces, windows all over the flat were dirty and looked like they haven´t been cleaned for at least half a year. The flat had a funky smell to it during the whole time. For the extra bed, there was no fitted sheet. In the bedroom cabinets were clothes. The bathrooms were also not cleaned properly, tiles on the floor were broke, the on suite shower tray leaked. Shower head almost fell out of the wall, no toilet paper no toilet brush;towels just had been bought by argos and not been washed trough, so we had to buy washing powder and cleaning supplies in order to be able to make it endurable. Sorry, can not recommend this place!
