We offer you a lovely and spacious apartment in the heart of Rome, near the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and many other tourist sites such as Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano.
The apartment is in a pleasant residential neighborhood (called Esquilino, one of the seven hills of Rome) just a short walk from the main train station, Termini, where you will arrive if you take the nostop train from Fiumicino Airport or the bus from Ciampino airport, or arrive with a long distance train.
A big and convenient supermarket is 200 meters away, an excellent bakery is just 250 mts. far, there are a wide choice of restaurants - local & ethnics - at a walking distance, the oldest italian Ice Cream Factory is behind the corner, and many shops & caffés are nearby.
Besides being very convenient for walking to many tourists spots, the apartment is ideally situated for using public transportation. It's only 50 meters from the Metro A line and to many bus and tram lines. It's just two metro stops from Termini station, where you find the Metro B line and the Leonardo Express train to the Fiumicino airport.
The apartment is on the basement of an early 1900's building, very quiet, charming, colorful and spacious.
And it is really BRAND NEW (renovated on Novembre 2012)!
Entrance, big living room with one king-size sofa bed and one chair bed, one bedroom with queen size bed and walk-in closet, one bathroom with bathtub.
The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people.
Many accessories/amenities like Wi-Fi DSL, A/C, 37'' flat TV, DVD reader, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, hair dryer, iron, strongbox, etc.
Cleaning fee not included in the 9Flats invoice.

The flat is very good located and fully equipped. You can find everything in walking distance.
Paolo was a great host from the very first mailing on. We enjoyed staying in the flat very much. -
Gerhard 5.0 stars 01/23/2013The appartment is extremely well furnished with everything you may want and need: dishwasher, fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, an excellent bed and cover, a large TV screen, a laptop, DVD player and movies, a cell phone for emergency calls, pressing iron, large supply of china and silver ware etc, etc. The host even supplied several electric adapters (for visitors from remote countries!). There was coffee, tea, kleenex, a lot of information on Rome, and a number of little things that make life comfortable and which you cannot take for granted in a rented appartment.
It was cold in Rome in January ( Jan 14-21, 2013 ), probably colder than it usually gets there in winter. So it was just wonderful that heating up the appartment after a day's stroll took only a few minutes.
For us it was the ideal place to stay and I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good accomodation and still keep his independence.

Paolo was a great host, really helpful and friendly, the apartment was clean and central. I can definetly recommend to stay here.

Paolo was the ideal host. He welcomed us warmly, took all the time to explain the appartment and the utilities. He gave us a lot of information on Rome, where to go, how to move around and where to dine. He organized our transfer from and to the airport, and everything was to our perfect satisfaction. I can only speak highly of the way he treated and communicated with us.
