The apartment is really nice and really clean! It is super cute and just like it looks in the pictures. The bedroom is actually bigger than expected as you don't see the extra space at the end of the bed in the pictures! The apartment is in a great location and the grocery store is literally a minute walk away as is the tram. It is really nice to look out the windows and see a beautiful garden! Something that may need mentioning but is not an issue for most people is the rooms don't have doors to separate them. I only mention this because I have a crawling, exploring baby and this means I have to constantly watch him every second because he can go from one room to the next in seconds. Despite the fact that there aren't doors the sound was never an issue for us because the bedroom and the living room are separated by a hallway. You can however hear children in the morning walking to school if you are not an early riser. The apartment is great though and I would HIGHLY recommend it!!Dominik reviewed Beachhouseflair in Sülz, renoviert in Kriel

The apartment is just as it is described. It's very nice and spacious. It is on a nice street and is a close walk to the train, Rewe, and a park. There are several restaurants in walking distance too. The only thing I would say about the apartment that bothered me was the bed totally sweaks quite loud when you get into it. Also the floor boards also sweak in certain spots when you walk on the floor. This isn't a big deal but when you are trying to be quiet because your baby is sleeping it may be an issue. Another thing that may need mentioning is the living room doesn't have curtains or shutters, again for most people this is probably not an issue, but for a mother that needs to breast feed her child on the couch, I was constantly watching to make sure the people across the street weren't in their windows. Despite the few things I mentioned I would definitely recommend this apartment. We would have stayed longer if it was closer to my husband's work.Dominik reviewed Schöne, moderne 2 Zimmerwohnung in Köln-Bickendorf (20 Min.zur Messe) in Cologne
Unique Vacation Rentals in Cologne
One of Germany’s oldest cities, with a history stretching back thousands of years, much of Cologne’s historic majesty was destroyed during World War II. However, major restoration efforts over the past few decades has allowed Cologne to regain much of its former glory, now making it a popular tourist destination. With a plethora of museums and galleries, as well as the highest density of pubs of any German city, Cologne has something for everyone. 9flats.com offers unique vacation rentals in Cologne at a fair price and that let you live among the locals.
Culture vultures are bound to fall in love with Cologne. Museums and art galleries are sprinkled throughout the city, numbering over one hundred in total and offering impressive collection of artistic treasures including works from the likes of Picasso at the famous Wallraf-Richartz Museum. Cologne’s rich heritage is further enhanced by the presence of its medieval cathedral. Despite suffering damage during World War II bombing raids, the Cologne Cathedral and its instantly recognizable twin spires remained unbowed and today this beautiful structure is the most visited tourist attraction in the whole of Germany. Vacation rentals in Altstadt-Nord are conveniently located by the cathedral and the Wallraf-Richartz. Those who are looking to be at the center of the modern art scene should consider a vacation apartment in Ehrenfeld, a lively district packed with numerous shops.

Cologne is a delightful mix of old tradition and modern energy. While the history and legacy of the city live on in the form of iconic buildings such as the Cologne Cathedral, modern life is very much represented within the city’s vibrant nightlife. There are also a massive varie-ty of clubs, bars and even boat parties to enjoy. Food lovers are also extremely well catered to in Cologne. There are a huge selection of eateries offering everything from standard fare to more tradi-tional German dishes such as black pudding with onions. With vacation rentals from 9flats.com, you also have the option of shopping at the local markets and cooking a meal at your home from home.
